Dear Madam,
Asaalam O Aliakum
I have been a general viewer of all your programms and I like the subjects you have brought forward to our society which is very interesting and alarming too. Just today when I came back from work luckly I got to watch your programm on Environmental Protection Agency in Pakistan on Humtv.
The issues you have brought forward today is with no doubt a very important matter which is to be handled with the utmost importance in our country. But unfortunately I’m sorry to say that there is no action or implementation being taken at either the Provincial or the Federal Level. I do remember that in the year 2001 Korangi Industrial Area has done alot to facilitate its sector by building a water treatment plant for all water waste to be treated and then deposited into the rivers or ocean. The porject was donated by Holland/Germany not for sure. Secondly where the SITE Industrial Area is concerned they have not done anything to handle this issue. I myself have seen that there has been alot of waste dumping being made in our oceans at around 3Am in the morning…. believe it or not but the CDGK and local Authorities get huge commmission being paid to keep they mouths and eyes closed on these issues.
I do alot of research studies on particular issues and alot on human right violations being conducted in Pakistan and world vide. Another thing to mention is that our sea beds is currently NO.1 in the world where there is alot of toxic waste being dumped in our ocean and there is nothing being done to catch these culprits who have high positions in Government Offices. The question is from where and how are these activities being done, well there are alot of international agencies that are exporting there waste to these so called Third World Countries and specially agencies in Pakistan are handling these waste products and doing the dumping in our oceans. There is alot of material available on the site and trust me the situation in Pakistan is very bad.
Its been almost 2 1/2 years I have come to Jeddah – Saudi Arabia for working because of financial reasons and responsibilites…. I have been a Income Tax Practitioner for almost 12 years in Karachi and worked for various organizations voluntarily on issues in various fields. But as I said above the reason im in Saudi Arabia. Even now in Jeddah due to my interest in such issues I took the liberty to visit one of the Environmental companies in Dammam by the name of Saudi Environmental Works and the management they have its great.
Its not about money… Pakistan has by the Grace of Allah has alot of money but unfortunately our management at all levels private or government are fully corrupted and no words to say. They rather send they children abroad with all the unfaithfull means of earning but they have forgotton that a day will come when they will have to answer to God and it will be “too late”. They can come with they shinney suits and big cars and body gaurds on popular Tv shows and talk about anything or blame previous governments but it does’nt matter there all the same. Finally the problem is that when they are finished with filling up they foreign oversea accounts with dollars and euros they migrate to foreign countries with international passports and leave our country to live on they mistakes and after a few years when they have fulfiled they life enjoyment abroad they come back to Pakistan to become big minister and presidents and thats what is so horrifying. The People of Pakistan at huge are suffering due to they mistake and all the financial aid we recieve is in they foreign accounts. Every Political Leader comes to Pakistan to fill they pockets and treat the citizens of Pakistan as “DIRT” . After a very long time I have seen that our previous President who had served as a renowned COAS and President served his country with great faith and honesty for which the present governments after serving two consecutive terms where a huge loss to Pakistan. I am not favouring anyone but lets see the facts on present and past.
Thank You
