Pakistan's first female athlete Naseem Hameed a 22 year old girl from karachi won a gold medal in the race in South Asian Federation (SAF) Games 2010 at Dhaka. A reward of Rs.1 million has also been announced by the president for winning the 100-meter race in 11.81 seconds.She has been appointed as one of the ambassoder for sports by President Zardari.
